Employee cost as a record, not a payroll run

Short answer

Employees are recorded with their salary amount, salary history, advances and leave, and the cost reaches the profit report. This is not payroll: gross-to-net calculation, social security contributions and payslips are not part of the product.

Payroll cost appears as its own line in the profit report.

What it does

Each employee is an account: salary accruals, payments, advances and bonuses move a balance, and the cost lands in the right month of the profit report.

Advances are tracked separately so they are not confused with salary already paid.

What it does not do

It does not calculate net from gross, it does not produce payslips and it does not file anything with a social security authority. Those stay with your payroll provider.

Saying so plainly is deliberate: a tool that implies payroll and then cannot produce a payslip costs its user a month.

Frequently asked questions

Does Cirometre run payroll?

No. It records employee cost, advances and leave and feeds the profit report. Gross-to-net calculation and payslips are not included.

Are advances tracked separately?

Yes, as their own balance, so they are not mistaken for salary already paid.
