Do not send a statement as a screenshot

Short answer

You send your customer a link. They open their own statement — no login, no account to create. The link stops working after 30 days.

Reconciliation by screenshot goes stale the moment it is sent

When a customer asks what their balance is, the usual answer is a photo of a screen or a PDF. The number is frozen at the moment it was taken, the movements after it are invisible, and the next question starts the reconciliation over.

A link stays current instead: the customer opens the statement themselves and sees the company details, the movements and the balance together.

Scoped and time-limited, not an account

The link opens one thing — that account statement. It is not a view into the rest of your data, and it is not a login.

It also expires after 30 days, so a permanent address is not left in an old email thread. If it is needed again, you send a new one.

Frequently asked questions

Can the customer reach the rest of my data through the link?

No. The link opens that account statement and nothing else; it grants no access to any other part of the product.

How long does the link stay open?

30 days. After that it stops working, and you can send a new one if the customer needs it again.
