Channel returns land in the same list
Short answer
A return from a marketplace is the same event as a direct return: the sale reverses, the resellable quantity goes back to stock and a credit note is issued. Keeping them together makes the return rate comparable across channels.

Comparable only if measured the same way
Each marketplace reports returns in its own format and on its own clock. Reading them separately makes "which channel returns most" unanswerable.
Normalising them into one list with one definition is what makes the comparison honest.
Frequently asked questions
Are returns pulled from every channel?
From the channels that expose them. Where a channel does not, the return can be recorded manually in the same list.
Does a channel return restore stock?
Only the quantity marked resellable, same as a direct return.
