What you bought, what you owe, what is overdue
Purchase invoices and running costs sit in one list with the supplier, the amount, the tax and the payment state. Unpaid documents are counted at the top, and spend without a document is counted but kept out of the tax figures.
Spend with no document is still spend
Leaving a cost out because the receipt has not arrived makes the profit look better than it is. Entering it as if documented makes the tax figures wrong.
It is recorded and counted in profit, flagged as undocumented, and excluded from the input-tax total until the document arrives.
The supplier balance is the running one
Each supplier is an account: invoices increase the balance, payments decrease it, and what is overdue is separated from what is merely outstanding.
Frequently asked questions
Can I record a cost without an invoice?
Yes. It is flagged as undocumented: counted in profit, excluded from input tax until the document is attached.
How is overdue calculated?
From the document’s own due date, per supplier, not from a single account-wide payment term.
